No one I know can complain like you could
And give this life such damn good rag doll beating
Rain would always get you wet, sun, far too strong
And all those crappy wars were German relics
No one is here to complain now that you’re gone
No one is here to complain and I miss you so
Not even fish cakes tasted quite like they did
When seas were clean and blue and not polluted
Cars were always dangerous, trains, late but safe
Don’t let safety kill your will, it’s boring
No one is here to complain now that you’re gone
No one is here to complain and I miss you so
When i watch it
I think of you
I wonder where you are
I wonder what you do
Are you afraid, are you at work
Are you making love
Or do you sit and watch the screen
Just like me
Moviestar, moviestar, moviestar
And when you smile
You smile at me
It must have been fun
‘cause you smile a lot
It’s your birthday and you’re in your red dress
You look great
And you open the gift
That I gave to you
Moviestar, moviestar, moviestar
And maybe it’s sick to sit here and watch
On a cold screen
How happy we were
But that is the price of our VCR
Yes, that is the price of our VCR
Moviestar, moviestar, moviestar
It’s penetration time again
Time to get out of cupboards
Time to squeeze and time to be squeezed
And if courage let’s me down
And I feel like drawing new cards saying please
go back to start again
She’s a piledriver
She’s extreme, but she’s real
She’s a missile
All the years I spent explaining
Building fortresses around me
Suddenly wasted when she comes
She’s a piledriver
She’s extreme, but she’s real
She’s a missile

p loofool p – No One is Here to Complain (Ep)
Label: Sotron records
p loofool p is a indie rock band from Oslo, who played together for about a year during 1995/1996. The band was inspired by everything from Lou Reed to Jane's Addiction and released a vinyl single, "Spoilt Conversation", in September 1996. The single went by relatively unnoticed, despite the fact that the cover was made of home-cut brown sky leather. The Czech press plant made a mistake during the cutting of the vinyl , and as a result the b-side "What would Andy say" was deformed by a nasty scratching sound.
The band entered the studio again during the fall of 1996 and recorded the material for a sequel. Then the group suddenly disintegrated in dramatic circumstances. The band was forgotten and displaced both by the bandmembers itself and by the few who might have bought their debut single, except Andy who never forgot the catchy song about him.
The mastertape from that session reappeared early 2019, after 20 years of obscurity in an dusty attic. The band itself was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the material, and decided it was time for others to hear what was boiled together by desperate and occasionally catchy rock in a rehersal space in Skippergata in the mid-90s.
The first taste is the Ep's "No one is here to complain", with three songs. The title song is a tribute to Lars' grandmother who was an extremely competent complainer. "Moviestar" is a bitter man's lament, while "Piledriver" is a love song with the opposite sign.
The album "Good Air Heads" will be released later during 2019, with a total of 10 songs.
Whether or not it will be possible to hear the band live remains to be seen.
No one knows what the band name "p loofool p" really means, and no one takes the responsibility of having created it, even though some may claime to know its origin.
The band consists of Trygve Eikland, drums - Kristen Sollesnes, bass - Fredrik Ness Sevendal, guitars and Lars Christensen, guitar and vocals.
Første smakebit er Ep’en «No one is here to complain», med tre låter.
